Alliant is Serving Up More than Just Data, Acquires Local Pizzeria
Alliant – The Audience Company, announced today that it has completed its acquisition of a local pizza restaurant, for an undisclosed amount. Additionally, Alliant will be broadening its operations by opening a smaller bistro in its newly renovated office space in Brewster.
“We’ve had our eyes on this acquisition for a long time” stated Tom Scanlon, GM of Alliant’s Pizzeria Company. “Strategically it just made sense as our level of investment was already so high. Our focus going forward is to increase stakeholder value by owning the full production process and saving on delivery fees.”
“I was a little skeptical at first but this acquisition opens up new revenue opportunities and growth for our associates” added Alliant President & CEO, JoAnne Monfradi Dunn. “Pizza making is now a critical crossover skill for all teams and will be a welcome addition to the Knowledge Exchange series.” The team plans to keep the menu consistent at first, but is considering expansion to gourmet sandwiches, salads, desserts, beer and wine.
Elizabeth Portmore is not ready to comment on the impact this acquisition will have on recurring Decicco’s orders.
