Alliant is looking for a Manager of Sales Operations to drive scale and efficiency through process creation and enforcement, CRM oversight, training, reporting and business intelligence. Qualified candidates will have experience managing Salesforce and cross functional initiatives in a B2B sales environment. They will possess strong analytic, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills with a drive for operational excellence.  This role will report to VP of Marketing and Customer Experience and will manage a Salesforce consultant. A key function on the Sales team, this role is cross functional with high visibility to leadership, enabling exciting career optionality within a growing organization.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert in the Alliant Sales cycle, actively seek ways to increase automation and scalability across the sales cycle
  • Monitor existing processes identifying areas for improvement, executing process improvement initiatives
  • Create and maintain process documentation and build workflows to empower the sales team
  • Execute regular training on sales enablement tools and process for sales and partner teams
  • Manage and support multiple cross functional initiatives serving as liaison between sales and other key partner teams: Marketing, Product, Technology, Data Science and Finance
  • Refine and maintain a hygienic and high performing CRM and sales enablement suite
  • Manage Salesforce integration with other tools, including Hubspot, Leadlander, QuickBooks, Media Radar, LinkedIn, and proprietary internal applications
  • Support business teams in documentation, training and education needs on Salesforce function and adoption, including monitoring and analyzing usage
  • Manage metrics and KPIs to help sales leaders make data-backed business decisions, including Sales forecasting, dashboard management, and business reporting
  • Report quarterly on sales efficiency and KPI’s to leadership: identify significant changes and trends that impact business goals
  • Partner with sales leadership to develop organizational goals
  • Stay up to date on new Salesforce features and process management tools to provide recommendations for process improvements and future integrations

Qualifications & Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years’ of B2B sales operation experience
  • Proven record of building strategic initiatives, executing across teams, and delivering results
  • Project management capabilities, managing internal partners and external contractors
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning required
  • Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification a plus
  • Experience with project management tools in Microsoft Teams and Jira a plus
  • Understanding of audience targeting and direct marketing analytics a plus
  • Must be a creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Must be highly self-motivated with the ability to work on multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have strong organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail
  • Must be a team player that understands success rests on helping others to be successful
  • Must be skilled at maintaining mutually beneficial partnerships through strong interpersonal, presentation and communications skills
  • Must be flexible, detailed, team-oriented and committed to having a good time while doing a great job
