Alliant is seeking a strategic sales leader for an innovative and respected data brand within the digital marketing industry. This is a player/coach position, responsible for agency strategy, pipeline management, team leadership, as well as direct selling of audience solutions to digital agencies. The successful candidate will have the ability to initiate and develop strategic relationships with Holding Companies and Independent Agencies, build and manage a sales pipeline, maximize revenue by selling Alliant audiences to agencies and collaborative across multiple levels within the organization. This position will report to the VP of Digital & TV Partnerships and will be based out of Alliant’s NYC office.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Lead, recruit and grow a high performing sales account team.
  • Establish a common approach and a clear framework for account management and provide high level coaching and training to keep sellers performance on track
  • Develop and execute GTM strategy and tactics as the market evolves
  • Develop a strong new business pipeline through existing contacts, strategic prospecting, industry event attendance, research, and reactivation of underperforming accounts among digital agencies
  • Cultivate a sales funnel capable of delivering team and corporate level revenue growth goals
  • Increase digital platform revenue with an existing book of business across digital agencies by building long-term relationships with key contacts
  • Conduct business reviews with key accounts to identify new business opportunities and manage ongoing customer interaction and satisfaction
  • Hone agency GTM strategy and tactics as the market evolves
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with account teams and decision-makers at agency trading desks and DSPs; and ensure Alliant solutions are top of mind and included in campaigns
  • Drive Alliant brand in market through presence and active participation in industry events
  • Analyze campaign success and provide audience recommendations to clients/prospects
  • Educate clients on trends in audience targeting and optimization to support innovative digital audience targeting strategies
  • Ensure all phases of the sales lifecycle including targeted prospect/client contacts and engagement opportunities are accurately recorded in Salesforce
  • Prepare RFP responses, proposals and other sales-related documents that enable the company to expand its relationships with existing customers

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or business field preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Adtech or digital data sales to agencies
  • Strong understanding of the digital data ecosystem
  • Proven track record of success and goal attainment
  • Experience and relevant contacts within digital agencies organizations
  • Must be highly resourceful in qualifying prospects and possess a working knowledge of digital marketing and audience targeting, experience with data modeling a plus
  • Analytic mind set, with a passion for data-driven marketing
  • Experience recruiting, developing and growing a sales team
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work on multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to develop and deliver client ready presentations
  • Experience working with Salesforce a plus
  • Outstanding persuasive communication, writing and presentation skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must have ability to accommodate travel to client sites and industry events
  • Must be flexible, detailed, team-oriented and committed to having a good time while doing a great job
