Overview:

Alliant is searching for a dynamic individual to support the SVP of Data Strategy in initiatives impacting Product, Data Science and Sales. The Data Strategy Manager will be a skilled direct and digital marketing strategist — and possess a deep understanding of data and analytics. This role reports directly to the SVP of Data Strategy and is based in Alliant’s Northern Westchester County, NY office.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Partner with SVP in identifying new data sets leveraging member and 3rd party data. Create business case documents to support use cases
  • Provide project oversight on all data tests impacting audience products and analytic solutions
  • Partner with SVP to develop test and solutions that leverage multiple identity keys for data set matching and enrichment
  • Provide reporting as required to Sales team including but not limited to audience counts, profile reports, and other analyses to support solution recommendations
  • Advise Sales teams on viability and availability of 1st, 2nd & 3rd party data sets and provide guidance on how to leverage assets in specific applications
  • Monitor existing product affinity transformations and manage development of new categories
  • Develop SOWs for special projects in partnership with Sales and Platform Partnership teams; submit completed SOWs to Data Gov for review and processing by Development and Production
  • Partner with Audience Development team on development and delivery of cooperative metrics reports to provide insight to Sales on member-specific and database trends
  • Schedule and manage periodic meetings with 3rd party data partners to review data sets, products and services; determine what changes might impact Alliant solutions and what new data might be leveraged
  • Identify and document cross-team processing steps for all data projects and integrations, and ensure that documentation is available to with Data Governance and Data Integration teams

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years’ business experience within a marketing or database services environment
  • Must have strong affinity for data and marketing with demonstrated knowledge of direct/digital marketing, consumer profiling, analytic methods and generating actionable insight from data
  • Must have a strong orientation toward providing outstanding customer service, and demonstrate ability communicate with clients and coworkers in a courteous, professional, accurate and timely manner
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work on multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior organization, documentation, and communication skills
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Salesforce experience a plus
  • Must be flexible, detailed, team-oriented and committed to having a good time while doing a great job
