Alliant is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join the Sales team of a respected data and analytics provider targeting top B2C marketing organizations. This position is responsible for supporting sales and business development efforts to ensure timely services delivery, increased revenue, and client satisfaction. The Client Success Associate assists with project planning and delivery, internal and external communications, and related reporting tasks. The successful candidate will have experience or relevant coursework focused on customer service skills, project management and marketing operations. This position reports to the Director of Client Success.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Support sales and business development teams in creating internal work requests, statements of work, project scheduling, trafficking/logging inbound customer data, and expedite delivery of contracts and billing instructions
  • Coordinate communications with internal teams to provide outstanding customer support and product delivery, and respond to inquiries about products and services
  • Support sales teams in research, proposal development, proof of concept presentations and other critical communications
  • Coordinate with Director of Client success to ensure that product delivery and quality meet order requirements as defined in statements of work
  • Monitor and manage client needs to ensure timely resolution of issues and escalate matters as required
  • Support research for new prospective client contacts and assist with updating CRM database with client information and sales activity as needed
  • Keep current with marketing technology and data industries as well as all Alliant products and solutions

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Requires Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or business field with 1+ years of experience within a business-to-business (B2B) sales organization, a business-to-consumer organization (B2C), or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have a demonstrated passion for sales and customer service and have the ability to assist with difficult customer situations
  • Hands-on experience with or course work focused on direct marketing, digital marketing and/or database development environment
  • Demonstrated ability to offer solutions that will help improve day to day operations to support sales efforts.
  • Excellent business writing and presentation skills, with thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of direct mail, digital marketing operations, or exposure to data and analytic practices preferred, exposure to direct marketing analytics and reading model gains charts a plus
  • Experience or exposure to CRM database and similar business reporting software applications preferred
  • Must be detail oriented and demonstrate excellent organizational skills
  • Must be flexible, team-oriented and committed to having a good time while doing a great job
