Overview:

Alliant is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented individual with experience in the Adtech industry to grow Alliant’s Digital Platform Partnerships. The Platform Account Executive will be a key contributor to Alliant’s continued evolution. This high-visibility position requires the successful candidate to initiate and develop strategic relationships with DSPs, DMPs, SSPs, Data Exchanges, and social media platforms to promote Alliant digital audience targeting solutions. This position will support growing platform relationships, identify new distribution partners, and create and implement a sales plan to exceed budgeted revenue goals. This position reports to the Director of Digital Partnerships.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop and lead new business development for assigned territories, overseeing all new account contact and sales activity
  • Set and meet sales goals, develop forecasts, maintain active account opportunity pipeline, track opportunities, manage the sales fulfillment process and report regularly on progress to executive management
  • Align Alliant on-line/off-line audience targeting, campaign optimization and analytic solutions to customer applications
  • Prepare and communicate solution overview, pricing, proposals, presentations, contracts, negotiate the terms and conditions of the sale, and close the final agreement
  • Update CRM management information daily and document sales activity, transactions, account, client information and revenue opportunities as required
  • Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales targets; maximize profitability and new business financial performance by managing costs and customer pricing
  • Partner with marketing team to research, create and manage lead/prospect funnel
  • Work closely with internal and external teams as required to manage client fulfillment
  • Implement Alliant’s sales process and SOPs; be a key contributor to Alliant’s continual development of a results-oriented and sales-driven culture

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or business field; MBA or equivalent preferred
  • 5+ years’ B2B direct consultative selling experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Goal focused and able to develop a sales plan and to execute the plan
  • Demonstrated mastery of and passion for the art of selling, a love of data and an understanding how to utilize the power of analytics to support customer goals.
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience as a vendor or end-user within direct, digital and/or database marketing; relevant sales contacts within direct-to-consumer digital and direct marketing organizations a plus
  • Working knowledge of marketing analytics and reading model gains charts a plus
  • Must demonstrate solid listening skills and a consultative sales approach, with proven ability to identify and build relationships with C-Level executives and key decision makers in client organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and expand client relationships for positive outcomes; should be comfortable managing difficult customer situations successfully
  • Experience using a CRM database or similar software applications
  • Outstanding writing and presentation skills, with an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Position requires external client interaction, must have the ability to accommodate travel to client sites and industry events
  • Must be flexible, detailed, team-oriented, able to work independently as needed and committed to having a good time while doing a great job
