Alliant is searching for an Audience Development Associate to oversee planning, documentation and reporting for Alliant’s industry-leading Audiences program. The successful candidate will have an educational background or work experience in direct and digital marketing. This role reports directly to the SVP of Data Strategy and is based in Alliant’s Northern Westchester County, NY office.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Support SVP of Data Strategy with cross team management of audience program – identification, creation, development, description assignment and distribution of audience segments
  • Support Agency & Platform team on creation of custom audiences for digital distribution
  • Maintain and monitor audience program for internal Meta-Data Management (MDM) and internal/external taxonomy documents including variable naming, descriptions and install layout changes
  • Partner with Platform Manager of Integrations to update all documentation needed for partner integrations
  • Partner with internal teams to facilitate documentation and reporting for industry certifications for data transparency and quality
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external clients
  • Provide constructive feedback and critical thinking to the wider business; contribute ideas and take the initiative to continually improve and develop processes
  • Support internal metrics tracking and reporting using Excel, Smartsheet, salesforce and business intelligence software

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; 1+ years’ business experience with a marketing focus a plus
  • Must have strong affinity for data and marketing; knowledge of direct/digital marketing and/or consumer profiling/insights a plus
  • Must have a strong orientation toward providing outstanding customer service, and demonstrate ability communicate with clients and coworkers in a courteous, professional, accurate and timely manner
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work on multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior organization, documentation, and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Highly proficient in Excel (e.g. ability to create Pivot Tables)
  • Experience using data visualization tools a plus (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
  • A general understanding of data modeling and/or P&L knowledge a plus
  • Salesforce experience a plus
  • Must be flexible, detailed, team-oriented and committed to having a good time while doing a great job
