Information we collect anonymously

For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes only the visitor’s domain name, and the referring URL, not the e-mail address. We may collect aggregate information on what pages were accessed, and in which order, to help us understand overall site usage and to aid in site design. We may use an IP address in an attempt to determine a place of business from which a website visitor originated. Such usage does not include any personally identifiable information and does not allow us to identify individual users. This information is considered confidential by Alliant and is used solely for internal research purposes by Alliant or a third-party research firm which Alliant may contract with for research services. All such third parties are contractually obligated to honor the terms of this privacy policy.

Information provided to us by site visitors
If you use our site to supply us with your postal information, e-mail address, telephone number or other identification information, such information will be used by us for subsequent contact from Alliant. From time to time, we will provide information regarding new products and services or upcoming events, as well as directly converse with you regarding your questions and comments.

Such contact data are not shared with third-party organizations for commercial purposes. Our service providers (web site hosting, site design, etc.) may have access to the data to help us with our work, but these service providers are subject to confidentiality requirements by contract with Alliant. Were Alliant to be acquired by another company, these data also would be transferred to the company’s new owner.

With respect to cookies
We use cookies to record session information, such as information provided on forms within the site, record user-specific information on what pages users access or visit, record past activity at the site in order to provide better service when visitors return to our site.

With respect to ad servers
We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies at this site, and have no plans to do so at this time. If this were to change, we would indicate such information in this policy.

Opt-out choice
If you do not wish to receive further contact from Alliant, you may opt-out from further contact by sending e-mail to optout@alliantdata.com, or by writing to us at our postal address provided above. Use “opt-out” in the email subject line, or ahead of the company’s postal address on the envelope. You may also opt-out by visiting the Contact Preferences page on this website.

Amendment rights
From time to time, we may decide to use subscriber information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change in the future such that our data collection and usage practices change materially, we will contact users on our file to notify you of the policy change before we use your data for any new purposes. We will provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses.

Enforcement
If you have questions about our policy and adherence, please let us know. Alliant also is a member of the Direct Marketing Association. The DMA provides an enforcement mechanism to which consumers and business individuals can bring their concerns if and when a direct marketing company does not appear to be responsive to an ethics or self-regulatory matter, or to honor its own Privacy Policy, promise and practices. Individuals may contact: ethics@the-dma.org.
