Overview:

Alliant is seeking a Senior Data Project Specialist to join its Data Governance Team. This associate will be the liaison between Alliant’s Sales, Production and Development teams, responsible for ensuring that data projects are completed accurately and on time. Responsibilities include custom projects that utilize Alliant data resources and coordinating integration of new data sources. The successful candidate for this position will be analytical, detail-oriented and possess excellent communication skills. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional and detailed management for custom projects utilizing Alliant Production and Development resources
  • Supervise project workflow from inception to completion ensuring that accurate solutions are provided on schedule
  • Clarify project details, assign to appropriate personnel, establish reasonable timelines and provide strategic direction
  • Help resolve project issues that may arise
  • Communicate with both technical and Sales stakeholders
  • Support data integration of both first and third party data sources, including interaction with client and vendor SME’s
  • Identify, organize, coordinate and implement all tasks with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrate flexibility and respond appropriately to the expressed needs of internal and external customers

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a data-driven marketing environment
  • Experience managing projects; project management certification a plus
  • Experience in Data Analyst roles with data analytics, predictive modeling for audience development, campaign analysis, risk management, or similar business needs, a plus
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills; especially ability to identify data quality issues and recommend the best course of action to address them
  • Must work well under pressure while exhibiting a methodical approach to problem solving
  • Provide technical oversight for client engagement team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to interface with stakeholders and business partners
  • Superior organization and documentation skills
  • Motivated self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Exposure to analytical tools and their usage a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
