This is an exciting entry level position that will let the successful candidate be an important contributor to Alliant’s continued growth. The Sales Support and Reporting Associate will provide a wide range of support services to Alliant’s Sales, Business Development, Client Engagement and Product teams. This associate will be exposed to the full range of Alliant’s multi-channel products and solutions, providing a solid foundation for advancement within the company.  In addition to sales support responsibilities, this Associate will also coordinate transfers of data, files and creative elements with partner companies for smooth processing and campaign execution. This position reports to the Manager of Client Services.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Provide support as required for Sales, Business Development, Client Engagement and Product teams, including:
    • Generate audience counts for offline and digital channels
    • Handle the set-up of email and digital targeting campaigns
    • Traffic data, creative and tracking links for email and digital display/video campaigns
    • Assist with research on clients and prospects
    • Partner with marketing and team leaders to identify, qualify and data enter sales leads as assigned
    • Record information and generate reports from CRM system to track revenue and activities
    • Assist in interpretation of profile reports and creation of client presentations
    • Assist in analysis of model gains charts and creation of model presentation documents
    • Prepare sales and client services presentation materials
  • Partner with senior team leaders to maintain automated reporting on sales and program KPIs and other business metrics (i.e., datacards, pricing grids, etc.)
  • Ensure on-time creation and delivery of monthly audience file updates to digital platform partners by partnering with internal teams such as production, development and analytic resources required
  • Manage onboarding custom audiences for display campaigns with appropriate digital partner; report on project progress to all stakeholders (internal and external customers)
  • Utilize multiple software systems for gathering information; provide analysis of requested research
  • Identify, research and resolve issues in client deliveries/services/reports; document process improvements to ensure corrective actions persist
  • Handle reporting and analysis on disposition of multichannel campaigns/programs; ensure timely creation and delivery of match-back files for analysis
  • Manage ad operations services as needed for targeting programs (e.g. CPC, IP matching)
  • Provide additional services as requested by management

Key Skills and Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration or an analytics-related discipline preferred
  • Position requires an analytically-minded individual with a demonstrated ability to identify and interpret relevant data and develop action-oriented recommendations
  • Requires outstanding writing and presentation skills; must have through knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Must possess an understanding of direct marketing principles and digital marketing practices
  • Familiarity with data-driven targeting and optimization solutions is a plus
  • Hands-on experience using Salesforce or similar CRM software a plus
  • Must be a lifelong learner self-motivated to independently identify performance gaps and develop improved processes and techniques
  • Should be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple projects; must be comfortable setting priorities and communicating to others
