Overview:

Alliant Cooperative Data Solutions is looking for a predictive modeler to work in our northern Westchester, New York office.  This position will be mostly responsible for building predictive models and performing customer segmentation.  The ideal candidate will have a wide-range of experience building regression models with online and offline data.  Additionally, candidates should be familiar with large-scale databases, PC software, and database manipulation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build predictive models for the direct marketing industry
  • Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with clients and sales staff
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to clearly exhibit changes, counts and trends in marketing data
  • Produce analyses to compare, validate and improve modeling solutions.
  • Evaluate third party data
  • Create novel solutions and products for online and offline marketers

Required Professional Experience & Skills:

  • 2 – 5 years experience building predictive models
  • Extensive experience programming in SAS (Base, STAT and Macro) and advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • Strong quantitative/analytical skills and extensive attention to detail
  • High energy level; flexible, adaptive, inquisitive and keen understanding of technology
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Graduate degree in Data Mining, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research or related field
  • Direct Marketing Industry experience a plus
  • Digital experience a plus
  • Knowledge of linux and SQL a plus
  • Local candidates preferred
