Overview

Alliant is seeking a strategic sales and operations professional driven to be a leading producer for a respected data brand within the digital marketing industry. This position will be responsible for selling new digital advertising solutions to platforms, agencies and marketers while maintaining and growing the current customer list. The successful candidate will have the ability to support sales operations and reporting procedures, build and manage a sales pipeline, and manage the smooth integration of Alliant audiences into new platforms. This position will report to Alliant’s Digital Partnerships Manager.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and increase revenue across digital agencies and platforms by building long-term relationships with key contacts
  • Support senior digital sales team members by assisting with reporting and operations projects
  • Develop a strong new business pipeline through cold calls, cultivation of new leads, and reactivation of idle accounts among agencies, marketers and content publishers
  • Use acquired knowledge of marketing strategy and digital marketing techniques to identify and sell-through compelling data-driven audience targeting solutions
  • Develop and present high-ROI business cases and strategies for custom audience creation, insights and modeling for digital applications
  • Analyze campaign success and provide audience recommendations to clients/prospects
  • Educate clients on trends in audience targeting and optimization to support innovative digital audience targeting strategies
  • Maintain CRM management system on a daily basis to record sales activity, track pipeline opportunities and forecast revenue

Key Skills and Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or business field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a database or marketing environment, including relevant internship experience. Sales experience a big plus.
  • Ability to work within digital user interfaces (i.e. Facebook Ads Manager, Google Adwords, etc.)
  • Must be highly resourceful in qualifying prospects and possess a working knowledge of digital marketing and audience targeting; experience with data modeling a plus
  • Outstanding communication, writing and presentation skills, with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience and relevant contacts within digital marketing organizations, platforms, or similar organizations a plus
  • Ability to develop and deliver client-ready presentations
  • Must have an analytic mindset, with a passion for detail and data-driven marketing
  • Must be highly self-motivated with the ability to work on multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Position requires external client interaction, must have the ability to accommodate travel to client sites and industry events
  • Must be flexible, detailed, team-oriented and committed to having a good time while doing a great job
