Overview:

Alliant is seeking a strategic sales professional driven to be a leading producer for a respected data brand within the digital marketing industry. This position will be responsible for selling established and new digital advertising solutions to digital agencies and brand marketers while maintaining and growing the current customer list. The successful candidate will have the ability to initiate and develop strategic relationships, build and manage a sales pipeline, maximize revenue by selling Alliant audiences to agencies and marketers. This position will report to Alliant’s Vice President of Digital Platform Sales. This position is located in Alliant’s Brewster, NY office with the option of working remotely in the New York City Region.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong new business pipeline through existing contacts, cold calls, research, and reactivation of underperforming accounts among digital agencies and marketers
  • Cultivate a sales funnel capable of delivering team and corporate level revenue growth goals
  • Increase platform revenue with an existing book of business across digital agencies by building long-term relationships with key contacts
  • Analyze campaign success and provide audience recommendations to clients/prospects
  • Educate clients on trends in audience targeting and optimization to support innovative digital audience targeting strategies
  • Maintain CRM management system on a daily basis to record sales activity, track pipeline opportunities and forecast revenue

Key Skills and Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or business field preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Adtech or digital data sales
  • Strong understanding of the digital data ecosystem
  • Proven track record of success and goal attainment
  • Experience and relevant sales contacts within digital agencies and marketing organizations
  • Must be highly resourceful in qualifying prospects and possess a working knowledge of digital marketing and audience targeting; experience with data modeling a plus
  • Analytic mind set, with a passion for data-driven marketing
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work on multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to develop and deliver client ready presentations
  • Experience working with Salesforce a plus
  • Outstanding persuasive communication, writing and presentation skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must have ability to accommodate travel to client sites and industry events
  • Must be flexible, detailed, team-oriented and committed to having a good time while doing a great job
